#WhatsNext: How to start living healthy
Join our hands-on workshop on farm-to-table cooking in partnership with Holy Carabao on December 9, 9 am to 3 pm, Sta. Rosa, Laguna

MANILA, Philippines – How many times has ‘eating healthy’ been on your list of new year’s resolutions? If the answer is too many, then this workshop on farm-to-table cooking might just help you achieve your health goals this 2018.

On December 9, Rappler and Holy Carabao will be holding a workshop on how to prepare and cook a healthy meal using fresh produce sourced straight from the Holy Carabao Holistic Farm at the Acacia Waldorf School, Hacienda Sta. Elena, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Aside from preparing healthy meals, you will also learn about the principles of eating mindfully and sustainably, food waste management, and composting. And enjoy the food you will cook!

Studies show that mindful and sustainable eating doesn’t only keep you from having too much to eat, you also help in food conservation so that the planet will still have something to feed the future generations.

Our speakers:

Hindy Weber and Melanie Teng-Go
Founders, Holy Carabao

Hindy and Melani advocate a holistic and conscious approach to every aspect of their social enterprise. They practice holistic agriculture inspired by biodynamic and permaculture principles. Apart from growing food, they also spearheaded a farm curriculum for grade school and high school students at the Acacia Waldorf School in Laguna. Their Farm School welcomes families and students to learn more about regenerative agriculture, conscious consumption, and environmental stewardship.
